CALI-COOL  meets COASTAL CAROLINA FOR THIS DEBORDIEU CLUB HOME WEDDING

LAUREN AND gABE - georgetown, south carolina

Lauren and Gabe met, started dating, and live in sunny California. However when it came time to plan their wedding they immediately knew they would say " I do" at Lauren's family's beach home in Georgetown, South Carolina. Planned and designed by Host and Haven , Lauren was able to have the beachside wedding ceremony she had always dreamed of, combined with a beautiful backyard tented reception. Lauren's father surprised the couple by flying in world-renowned Senegalese artist Baaba Maal to perform "There Will Be Time," a song Lauren played on repeat after meeting Gabe. The couple and their guests danced the night away under the custom ceiling installation by Veil  inspired by the local topography.  To cap the night the couple had a unique bubble exit and shared an evening cruise on the river.

"Everyone who knows me will grow tired of hearing me sing Elizabeth Lanier's praises. Is she that good? YES, her incredible talent truly warrants this type of admiration. Aside from the Sarah Elizabeth's abilities behind the camera, she has a gift for understanding that she is not just taking photos, but capturing the soul and emotion of a moment, one you will look back on and cherish for the rest of your life. Sarah Elizabeth and her husband William Lanier showed up early to our wedding weekend to scout, The two worked fervently and brought a fresh perspective to shooting our celebratory weekend. Every moment spent with these their team was serene and gave us an opportunity to reflect on the beautiful weekend. Photography is a very intimate aspect of a wedding and we were so lucky to have had Elizabeth Lanier there to capture our love and the best weekend of our lives."
