Katie Nell and Gordon met, started dating, and live in London. However when it came time to plan their wedding they immediately knew they would say " I do" on Kiawah Island. The wedding weekend design leaned towards an elevated, clean, and classic design – with nods to the couple's life together in the UK. Kristin of Bellafare created a space that was warm and inviting, while also being fresh and unique. For the ceremony space, she kept the focal point on the floral setting and the large oak tree in the background. Guests were invited to enjoy cocktail hour overlooking the sunset on the Kiawah River before joining everyone inside for dinner in the ballroom. Sol Fusion kept the dance tent packed all night long!    

A Carolina monsoon ushered us into this wedding weekend. We dodged rain during photos and were delighted when we saw a break in the forecast. The planning team executed a bump in ceremony start time and our bride was able to have her outdoor ceremony.
