This Villa Cimbrone Wedding on the Almalfi Coast of Italy was one of our favorite destination weddings to date. From a show-stopping Marchesa wedding gown to the gorgeous backdrop of the Amalfi Coast there’s so much to love about this Italian wedding celebration. The couple worked with Exclusive Italy Weddings to create a once-in-a-lifetime experience for their friends and family who traveled from afar to celebrate.

The weekend started with a pre-wedding portrait session in Ravello. A pre-wedding session is something we encourage all of our destination wedding clients to take advantage of to warm up behind the camera and get out those pre-wedding jitters, the benefit being you get amazing photos in your wedding destination like these! Following their portraits, we headed to the rehearsal dinner at a local Ravello restaurant.

For the wedding day, Daniella got ready on property at Hotel Villa Cimbrone and we proceeded to the gardens for the first look. The wedding ceremony took place at a beautiful church in Ravello. Once the ceremony ended guests were invited to the town center for a champagne toast and to watch the sun setting on the hillside. Musicians appeared and led guests on a “second line ” through the streets of Ravello to cocktail hour on Villa Cimbrone’s Terrace of Infinity. Dinner and dancing were held in the Crypt overlooking the Adriatic Sea and the lights of the towns below. The next day Daniella and Theo treated guests to an unforgettable sailing excursion to the Isle of Capri.
