Kate & Brian’s summer wedding took place at Moonlight Basin in Big Sky, Montana. Mariée Ami designed a weekend full of unique and purposeful experiences with their guests so they could see for themselves what the hype of Montana is truly about.
Riverhouse served as the perfect locale for their kick-off to the weekend – an epic welcome party on the Yellowstone River complete with fly fishing between dinner courses. The couple chose Moonlight Basin Golf Club’s 360 Reserve as their wedding venue for the sheer beauty of the space. Surrounded by mountains and under the shadow of Lone Peak, the couple promised one another forever. Following the al fresco cocktail hour guests were led to the tented reception where they partied well into the wee hours of the night.
Montana is one of the fastest-growing destination wedding markets in the mountain west. With beautiful venues across the state, it is easy to see why! Some of our favorite Big Sky Wedding Venues are Moonlight Basin, The Yellowstone Club, Montage Big Sky, and Lone Mountain Ranch. Moonlight Basin continues to remain one of our top Montana wedding venues for the unparalleled 360-degree mountain views that surround the ceremony and reception site on the Moonlight Basin Golf Course. Most of our clients choose an open-air outdoor ceremony paired with a sailcloth tent overlooking the mountain ranges. Hosting both ceremony and reception at the 360 Reserve makes it easy for the transportation of guests. Views for days mean we have amazing views in every direction for portraits with family and friends!
