Kiawah Island wedding clients have several venue options for outdoor wedding ceremonies. The Kiawah Island River Course is the venue under the oaks overlooking the golf course and river. The back of the River Course makes for the perfect outdoor ceremony spot. Clients typically tent the backyard for cocktails and dancing, and have dinner served in the ballroom.
There are a multitude of Kiawah Island venue options for your rehearsal dinner. Some of our favorites are Cougar Point Clubhouse, The Sanctuary, Cassique Golf Club, and Mingo Point.
The Kiawah Island Ocean Course wedding venue sits above the dunes overlooking the 18th hole and with the Atlantic Ocean in the background. This picturesque spot allows space for your outdoor ceremony, cocktail hour on the veranda of the clubhouse, and a beautiful sailcloth tent on the green for dinner and dancing.

This London couple hosted a 4 day Kiawah Island wedding weekend. The activities began with a bridal brunch and golfing for the guys. They opted for a unique and intimate rehearsal dinner at Cassique followed by a welcome party for all at the Cassique Clubhouse. The wedding ceremony took place outside of River Course overlooking the Kiawah River. They chose a tented reception for cocktail hour and dancing. The next morning guests were treated to a farewell brunch and a leisure day of activities on Kiawah island.
The Kiawah Island wedding team planned this beautiful summer fête. Our coverage started with a pre-wedding portrait session on property, followed by an intimate rehearsal on Thursday night at Cassique. Friday night's festivities included an oyster roast welcome party at Mingo Point. The wedding ceremony took place outside under the oaks with sunset cocktail hour on the Kiawah River Lawn and an intimate al fresco dinner party.
This NYC couple hosted a 3 day destination wedding weekend on Kiawah Island. They kicked off the celebration with an intimate rehearsal dinner at their home on Thursday and a large welcome party on the Ocean Course on Friday. The wedding ceremony took place on the at the Sanctuary Chapel. For the reception they tented Kiawah River hosted a chic dinner party overlooking the river complete with a second line and disco reception!
