From the bride, Diana, " Rahul and I met and reside in D.C. For our destination wedding weekend we knew we wanted ample quality time on a beach with our nearest and dearest. Mexico was the perfect locale – it’s gorgeous, easy to get to, and the Mexican people take such pride in hospitality. We chose the Rosewood Mayakoba as our wedding venue because not only do we love its beautiful design, Rahul and I first met at the D.C, Rosewood so we loved the symbolism of coming full circle. Since Rahul and I both like a minimalist aesthetic, the event design created by Mango Weddings was modern with a touch of tropical flair. The end result was chandeliers, beautiful orchids, lush white drapes, and candles as far as the eye could see."
"I came across Elizabeth Lanier in a wedding publication and was struck by the sheer poetry of the images. They were beautiful and lush and romantic and timeless – everything I wanted my wedding photos to be. Sarah ended up being about twice what we had budgeted for photography, but we quickly adjusted the budget because I knew in my heart of hearts – without hesitation – that working with Elizabeth Lanier would mean we would have the most beautiful heirloom photographs of our special day to treasure for the rest of our lives.
Sure enough, it was an absolute joy working with them, and we have the most exquisite photos that make me smile every time I see them. Sarah and Will captured us looking like the most radiant versions of ourselves in front of gorgeous backdrops. Sometimes I still pinch myself that it is us in these photos because they look like they are straight out of a magazine! Our families and friends were blown away too. Hiring the Elizabeth Lanier team was the BEST decision we made for our wedding."
